If You Can Find A Path With No Obstacles...

In yesterday's post I said that I would show you the shirts that I tie dyed with Cassandra, and for once I am keeping my word and showing them to you when I said I would! I'm trying to be a better blogger. So here they are! It was my second time doing this, and we didn't really know what we were doing, but I think they turned out nicely.

You can't really see it in the photo, but the bottom of this shirt is a very subtle grey, and it fades into light purple at the top!

And this is the last shirt. It's my favourite, because the dying made the pattern come out more, and I love how it looks!

I have been the worst blogger ever. I am just so lazy in the summer, I never photograph what I wear. But I never go anywhere, since there's no where to go around here. But on Friday I went to my friend's house to tie dye some shirts! We had so much fun, and made such a mess! My legs and hands still have stains from the dye. I don't care about mess though. I did fours shirts, and I'll show you them tomorrow! I'm really proud of them!

 I believe that this is the first post where you will see my purple hair! I'm really sorry I haven't posted photos sooner. What do you think?

Love Built On Beauty

On Friday, I bought One Direction's album on iTunes, and I am completely obsessed! I can't seem to listen to anything else, and yet it's frusterating, I love their music so much! Since The Jonas Brothers came to the music scene in 2009, I haven't really listened to pop music like this. I've been going toward indie and folk rock. But these boys have completely captured my heart. Especially that little blondie, Niall. First, he's Irish. You can't get any cuter then an Irish accent. Second, his voice. Oh my God, his voice! All of the other boys have that typical amazing voice, but Niall's is unique. He has that little something different that makes me swoon.

I love the way that chiffon falls in the wind. It's such a beautiful and graceful fabric! I think it's safe to say, that chiffon is my favourite fabric of all.

I Am My Hair

Sorry for being such a bad blogger lately! I've just been very lazy lately!

I know many of you have been looking forward to seeing my hair, and today is the day! But first, here is the story...

As you know, I bleached it with my best friend. After I washed out the bleach, we tried to dye it purple. It was a new dye that I had never tried before, and after putting it on and washing it out, the dye didn't stick. It turned out to be a coppery brown, which was actually really pretty. It was more subtle then I was looking for, though. I left it like that for two days, but I redyed it purple on Friday, and it is now actually purple! So it no longer looks at it does in these photos, but that is how it did look at first!

Yesturday, my parents and I drove up to the city to spend the weekend with my sister, Jess. The busker festival is taking place in Halifax now, so we also went to see some shows. I also go my palm read, and it was so weird! Everything that the man said was true. He said that I haven't decided on a career yet, but I will around the age of 25; that I'm not very good at solving my own problems, but I'm good at helping others with theirs and that I have the gift of empathy (he suggested I be a lawyer or councelor); that I am a free spirit; and that I hae a problem with spending too mouch money. It was so intriguing, have any of you ever had your palm read?

Life Is Not A Problem To Be Solved

This is what I wore on Monday when I went to New Minas to do some shopping with my mom! I went to buy hair bleach and dye, but then we went to Winners. Which is, by the way, my absolute favourite store. Whenever I go, I never fail to find at least one garment that I love. Typically, I actually find four or five.. it's that amazing of a store! But I managed to control myself, and buy only one shirt that you will see early next week!  Actually, the shirt I am wearing for this post is also from Winners!

This is also the last look that I photographed before I dyed my hair! My best friend and I did it, and it turned out pretty well. It was pretty blotchy and uneven, but that didn't really matter to me because I wasn't going to leave it blond. And I decided on dying it purple, and that's where it went a little wrong. The purple dye didn't  stick to the hair, so it came out a very pretty, yet very subtle looking coppery light brown. Which is actually nice, but I wanted purple. So I like it a little less.

..And yes, mymother thought I was crazy for wearing my Litas. Story of my life :)
