You Must Do The Thing You Think You Cannot Do

All of the trees are rid of their leaves in the forest. It looks bare and cold now, instead of warm and full of life, like it was only a week ago. Strange how quickly things change, isn't it?

This is how I looked Friday night when I went to Acadia University to spend the night with my friend that goes to school there. We had a great time, and stayed up way later then we should have, watching Magic Mike..
And I have to say, I really love the cut out shoulders of this blouse!

Tomorrow I have a job interview for what could be the most perfect job that I could have in my town. It's at the Ardenes store in the mall, and I really hope I do well in the interview. I'm not very good under pressure, so it could go either way. Here's hoping I do well!

Oh, I almost forgot! I gave my blog a little fall makeover. I haven't been happy with the way it's been looking lately, so I redecorated a bit. What do you think??

...And Sorry I Could Not Travel Both

Because it looks so different day by day, I decided to take the photos for this post in the forest too. And I probably will until the snow starts to fall; I just love the quiet peacefulness.
The wood was mostly colored yellow (besides the conifers behind me), and it instantly made me think of that Robert Frost poem...

Any way, this is how I looked last Thursday night, when I went to the movies with my friends. We went to see Pitch Perfect, then went for ice cream afterwards. And the movie was great, in case your were wondering.

Autumn Is A Second Spring

Autumn is oficially here in Canada. Well, to be honest it's been here for a few days, I just haven't gone outside to see it. It has always made me a bit sad in the past, to realise that summer is gone and won't be back for 6 more months, and that winter will soon be here. But today I decided, out of the blue, to take a stroll in the woods near my house. And it was so beautiful!

This was what I wore on Sunday to go see the Pumpkin People a few towns over with my family, and for our Thanksgiving dinner (no turkey this year; yay!).

Being Happy Doesn't Mean That Everything Is Perfect

Here's the last outfit from my stay in the city with my sister. I wore this on the last day, and spent it cuddling with her cat Maggie, and watching bridal shows on tv. I also wore this on Friday night to my best friend's house to watch Rock of Ages.

I have a feeling that this burgundy sweater will be worn quite a lot this season. I love the color so much, and it's so cozy! I also really like how it comes off the shoulder. It used to be a turtleneck, but I cut it off because I didn't like it that way.

Nobody Really Cares If You're Miserable

Goodbye blond, hello purple! That's right friends, I've dyed my blond tips to purple, and I am so in love! Since I bleached my hair, I've been dying to dye it, but I thought I should give it a little bit of time to rest from further possible damage. So I waited  a week, then painted it purple.

This is what I wore on Sunday (I took the photos today, as I was in the city for two days and couldn't take photos there) to see a musical at Neptune Theatre wiht my sister. We went to see Sweeney Todd, and it was beyond amazing. The chorus was haunting, and the actors played the parts extremely well. The lead was nowhere as good as Johnny though..

Whenever I got the the theatre I like to dress up, but I have this weird love of pairing my shabby combat boots with pretty looks such as this one. Weird.
