No, it's not snowing here. You can calm down. In this post, we'll be taking a look into the past. We're going back as far as the Christmas holiday. I can't remember where I wore this look, but I do know that I forgot to post it. And I think it deserves it's own post. So finally, here it is!
I was completely in love with this fuzzy sweater during the winter, and I wish I'd brought it with me when I moved to Regina! But I couldn't bring all of my clothes, and I figured I wouldn't be needing a sweater in the summer. I still miss it though.

All Things Must Change To Something New
Changes, changes. Things are always changing. The most obvious would be my hair, which is now blue. But I can feel my style changing. And it's awfully exciting.

We Grow Neither Better Nor Worse As We Get Old
I'm finally settled in my new home, Regina! And lucky me, my new family is letting me use their computer. So after over a week, a post is finally going up on this blog! I told myslef that after I moved here, I would start posting more regularly. I hope I can live up to that goal..
I still have photographs from my old house that I need to post, so you'll still be seeing the familiar fence in my background, until I've gone through them all!

Now, Bring Me That Horizon
This will be a really quick post, as I'm moving tomorrow! I have to go to bed early tonight so I can wake up at 2am to be at the airport on time..
But on a more serious note, I'm not sure about the immediate future of this blog. I don't know if I will have a computer available for me to continue blogging, so if you don't see any posts going up on here, it's becasue I don't have a computer. But I'll try my hardest to get my hands on one!

I thought it would be interesting to mix stripes, since it's such a huge trend right now. What do you think?

I Can't Go Back To Yesturday
Changes are coming! One that has already happened is the look of this blog. I rearranged some things, and am happy with it's look for now. I get bored with it quite quickly.
But a major change that is coming next week is that I'm moving! I'm finally leaving Nova Scotia, and am going to Saskatchewan! I'm moving in with my best friend and her family for the summer, and hopefully longer if I can.

I started reading Alice's Adventures In Wonderland again, so I thought it would be fitting to use a quote from that book. This one seems appropriate.

Nostalgia
I've been seriously lacking motivation lately. All I want to do is sit wrapped up in a blanket and watch Supernatural. All day and night.
Isn't the back of this jacket the coolest? It belonged to my dad when he was in high school in the 70's. I had to beg pretty hard to get it, but I think he thinks it's pretty cool to see his daughter wearing his old jacket. He won't tell me any stories about back in the day though, but I see the nostalgic look in his eye whenever he sees it.

...And Have Lost My Mind In The Process
I don't have much to say today. I've been in a bit of a slump because I lost my job on Monday. For the past year and a half I've been working at the last video rental store around my town, and the owner finally decided to close after business had been continuously going down. The worst part about it though, is that even though my boss has known since February, they decided to tell us the day before that the store was closing and that I'm out of a job.
I've loved this Van Gogh quote for a while, and I thought this would be an appropriate post to use it in. I hope that I'm lucky enough to find something that I love to do so much that I can invest my heart, soul, and mind into.

Keep Your Eyes On The Stars
This skirt is, I think, one of the most beautiful things I own. The galaxy print is perfect, and I love the colors. It is actually one of those high low skirts, but I decided to tuck the longer part into the front so it wouldn't get in the way or get caught on anything while I was running around doing peoples hair and makeup for a play!
If you're interested in seeing the full effect of this skirt in all of its high low glory, you can see it in my post Always Remember To Slow Down In Life by clicking here.

Act The Part
This past week has been so busy! My old school was putting on the musical Guys And Dolls, so I volunteered with my friends to do the hair and makeup, and we had so much fun! When I was in high school I helped with the production every year, so I really wanted to help out again, even though I don't go to that school anymore. It was such a great week, and I definitely miss high school.
Anyway, this is something that I wore to Halifax over the Easter weekend which was a while ago now. And this velvet blazer is a new favourite! I found it at a second hand store and instantly fell in love. I've been looking for a blazer for a while, but most that I find are cropped (I wanted one that was a bit longer like this). And it being made of velvet was a big selling factor, too!
