Sometimes Serendipity Is Just Intention Unmasked

This is officially my new favourite sweater! I bought it last week at H&M, and I'm so in love. I've wanted a black and white knit sweater for a while now, but never found one that I liked as much as this one! I love the feeling when you've been looking for something for so long,  but you think you'll never find what you're looking for so you give up and stop looking. And then you do! It's serendipitous.

 

Also, I finally have a black velvet skirt! I have a red and green, but black was next on the list. I think it's safe to say that black is my favourite color when it comes to clothes.

Identity Is Such A Crucial Affair

This sweater has been a favourite of mine this past winter. I love the bright red color, and it's so soft and warm! The distressed detailing at the bottom is also pretty cool, and I love how with this look, my new striped blouse shows through! I can't wait for summer, when it will be warm enough to wear it alone!
I wore this last weekend for what was (hopefully) my last shopping spree for a while. I've been way too crazy with buying clothes, and I need to reign it in a bit!

 

I've had these faux leather leggings for years, but they got lost in my closet so I forgot I had them. When I found them again, this look came to me instantly!

If The Universe Has No Meaning

When these shorts and blouse arrived together in my latest order from Romwe, I looked at them, and thought that they looked perfect together. I love how to studs on the shorts kind of mimic the stars printed on the blouse. I also wore these silver tights for that reason. To really round out the galactic, starry theme.

All Work And No Play

While the rest of my family has the week off from working since it's March break, I'm at work everyday by 8:15 a.m. for a solid 10 hour day. It's only been two days, but I. Am. Exhausted. My job is babysitting, and I am never having children of my own now. Taking care of a child and keeping a house clean is just draining. Mad respect goes out to all of the mothers in the world who do this every day AND have other jobs.

When In Doubt, Choose Change

I'm not sure what to say in this post! I haven't done much today, so that may be why my brain is still half asleep even though it's the afternoon.
I'll just tell you that this is what I wore to go out for lunch with one of my best friends for her birthday last Friday. I really love the color of this sweater, and it seemed to go perfectly with this dress, so I put them together along with these socks. I'm really happy with the way this looks, but I can't wait until its warm enough to wear dresses without sweaters!

These new boots were a Chrsitmas gift from my sister, and I'm so excited that I can wear them now that most of the snow is gone. I've had to hide them so I wouldn't wear them out, because I didn't want the snow and salt to damage them. But now that the snow is finally melting,  I think it's safe to wear them out!
